Suncorp New Zealand has appointed Debbie Mills as the new Executive General Manager (EGM) of Technology, commencing in November. Mills brings extensive experience from leadership roles in major financial institutions, including ASB, Bankwest in Perth, and Lloyds Bank in various international markets. Suncorp NZ CEO Jimmy Higgins emphasized that Mills joins during a crucial period of technology transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing customer and employee experiences. Her skills in technology, transformation, change management, and customer management are expected to be invaluable. Mark Atherton, currently acting in the role, will revert to his previous position upon Mills’ arrival.
