The Wing Luke Museum in Seattle has appointed Kamahanahokulani Farrar Law, its senior director of Finance and Operations, as interim executive director following the departure of Jol Barraquiel Tan. Farrar Law brings over 25 years of experience in administrative and operations management, including a six-year tenure as executive director for Na Puuwai, a Native Hawaiian Health Care System. Ellen Ferguson, Board president, expressed confidence in Farrar Law’s ability to maintain the Museum’s programs and initiatives during this transitional period. The Board of Trustees will soon initiate a national search for a new executive director. The Wing Luke Museum aims to advance racial and social equity through its exhibits and programs that celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander cultures.
