Dr Olli Haltia, the Managing Partner of Dasos Capital Ltd – CapMan Natural Capital, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The International Sustainable Forestry Coalition (ISFC). The ISFC, comprising 14 leading forestry companies, manages over 16.1 million hectares of forests across 33 countries to address pressing environmental challenges. Formed in September 2023, the ISFC aims to advocate for renewable materials within the circular bioeconomy, support growth compatible with climate and nature recovery, embed science-based principles in policies, and increase benefits for rural and Indigenous communities. The current board includes notable industry leaders from New Forests, Rayonier, PotlachDeltic, Gresham House Asset Management, Oji Holdings Corporation, and Sumitomo Forestry.
