Switzerland-based SMG Automotive has announced the appointment of Saskia Iten as the new PR and communications manager. She takes over from Artur Zazo, who will be joining the Swiss Federal Administrative Court’s communications department. Iten’s new role includes coordinating strategic communication and media efforts for the AutoScout24 and MotoScout24 brands. According to SMG Automotive marketing director Manuel Hauslaib, Iten brings extensive digital and journalistic experience. Iten studied journalism and corporate communications at SAL in Zurich and has a diverse background, including positions in media, freelance journalism, and entrepreneurial ventures. SMG Automotive is a part of the SMG Swiss Marketplace Group, a joint venture created by TX Group, Ringier, Mobiliar, and General Atlantic.
