Seedtag, a global leader in contextual advertising, has announced the acquisition of Australian creative intelligence firm JustEggs. The strategic move aims to bolster Seedtag’s growth in the APAC region with the introduction of its innovative contextual AI technology, Liz, into the Australian market. Founded in 2013, JustEggs is known for its effective digital solutions that drive engagement for brands and advertisers. With this acquisition, JustEggs will integrate Seedtag’s technology to enhance its offerings. JustEggs’ CEO, Nik Kontoulas, will remain with the company as Managing Director ANZ. This expansion follows Seedtag’s market entry into India and Peru in 2023, and Canada in 2024, increasing its presence to 17 markets. Seedtag Co-CEO Albert Nieto emphasized the importance of this acquisition for Seedtag’s international expansion. JustEggs founder Nik Kontoulas and Seedtag’s VP of New Markets, Dal Gill, also spoke optimistically about the enhanced capabilities and market opportunities the partnership brings. Seedtag, headquartered in Madrid, was established in 2014 and has since grown to over 600 employees with a broad international footprint.
