Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Providence Equity Partners on the sale of a 50 percent stake in Globeducate to Wendel, a French investment firm. Providence, which has been a shareholder in Globeducate since 2017, will retain its remaining 50 percent stake. The transaction, valued at approximately €625 million, aims to conclude in the second half of 2024 pending regulatory approvals. Globeducate, founded in 1972 in Spain, operates 65 premium bilingual and international schools and online programs across 11 countries, primarily in Europe. Representing Providence in this high-value, cross-border deal was a large team from White & Case led by partner Richard Jones.
