Keywords Studios, a Dublin-based video game services company, has received a takeover proposal valued at 1.96 billion pounds (approximately $2.48 billion) from EQT, a European private equity firm. The enhanced offer of 2,450 pence per share succeeds a former bid of 2,430 pence received on June 26. Keywords Studios’ board stated that they would recommend the proposal to shareholders if EQT proceeds with a firm offer.
