Crux, a platform for clean energy and manufacturing tax credits, has appointed William M. Daley as Senior Advisor. Daley, who has served as US Secretary of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, brings extensive experience in public affairs and banking. HIS strategic input is expected to bolster Crux’s growth in the transferable tax equity market created by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Crux, which launched in January 2023, has already raised over $27 million in funding and deals in billions of dollars worth of tax credits. Daley will work closely with Crux’s founders to advance the company’s mission of facilitating private sector investment into clean energy and advanced manufacturing projects.
